The purpose of the Marathon is to enable those who support and advocate non-public education to make a public demonstration of their belief and involvement.   Non-public and church education programs make a real contribution to the total community.  Participants raise funds via this fun activity.   Everyone from FLC, FLS, and the greater Glencoe community is invited to join FLS students and teachers as we raise funds and walk from First Lutheran School to Oak Leaf Park for an afternoon of fun, snacks, and games!  We’ll start the marathon at 12:30 pm from the school.  Join us there or along the way!
