Grandparent’s Day
We know how special of a gift Grandparents are that we want them to see what a day is like at First Lutheran! Their morning starts off with fellowship and coffee, followed by chapel with their grandkids, and activities throughout the classroom. We end our afternoon with special performances put on by each grade.
Christmas Program

At First Lutheran, we want our students to share the Good News of Jesus and that story starts with His birth. Each year the students put on a Christmas Program. They share the story of Jesus’ birth through songs, skits, and Bible readings.
National Lutheran Schools Week
In January, National Lutheran Schools Week is celebrated. This week provides the network of over 1,900 Lutheran Church Missouri Synod preschools, elementary schools, and high schools with the public opportunity to proclaim and celebrate God’s work in Lutheran schools. Students celebrate by dressing up, participating in opening and closing devotions, and fun events.

Parents may also register their child for the upcoming school year.

Silent Auction
In early spring First Lutheran hosts their annual silent auction and meal. Each class collects items to donate to the silent auction. Families are encouraged to bid on class baskets and other donations, as well as enjoy the delicious home cooked meal! In the past there’s even been a wine wall and pop pong!
