Garden Club

Our school garden helps FLS students learn where their food comes from, gain a deeper understanding of the connections between what we eat and how we feel, and discover how to make the right choices for meals and snacks.

First Lutheran School Garden Club members meet during the summer to plant, maintain, and harvest produce

Much of the produce is also used for the school lunch program. In 2020, FLS received a $3000 grant from Whole Kids Foundation. This funded resources to grow and expand the educational garden on our school campus.

"Build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce."

Jeremiah 29:5
