About

As members of the Body of Christ, God forms us into a family of believers. Each member of God’s family has a role, or vocation, within the Body, the family of believers. 

This family of believers is centered in our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died and rose for us, and is the foundation and the focus of all that we are and do as a congregation, just as He is the foundation of each of our individual lives. Through Holy Baptism, Christ has brought us into His family of believers. Through His Word and Holy Supper He continues to forgive us our sins and keep us strong in the faith of our Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

After being strengthened by God’s means of grace given to us through His Word, Holy Baptism, and the Lord’s Supper, we live out our role, our vocation, in God’s Family. Our role is to share the message of Christ, our crucified and risen Savior and to serve one another.

In all that we do and who we are, we give the glory and honor to God our Father. Amen.
