Whether it’s gathering at church with each other talk about God’s blessings, having fun together at community events, or extending out to the WORLD on mission trips . . . First Lutheran Church and School has an active youth ministry.

I.M.P.A.C.T. Youth Group

We meet for large-group discussions and/or Bible Study/Devos, games, and food. We encourage you to bring your friends – you do not need to be a member to attend.The 1st Sundays of the month – from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM @ the Lighthouse during the SCHOOL YEAR. Check out the Youth Calendar for specific dates throughout the summer!

LCMS Youth Gathering

The LCMS Youth Gathering happens every three (3) years! In 2028, it will be held in San Antonio, Texas! This five-day event is a time where you can experience worship with more than 20,000 other Lutherans, go to seminars , build fellowship with their peers and adults, and prayerfully grow in your faith through this process! See Deaconess Megan Polzin right away if you are interested in starting to fundraise for this trip!

Mission Trips

In the alternate years when the LCMS Youth Gathering isn’t happening, the Youth head out on Mission Trips (coming up: Mescalero, NM in June/July of 2026)! We pray that this time is an experience that helps their faith life and servant hearts grow.
